The lakes covered by this syndicate are Willow Walk Lake at 12 acres and Coot Lake at 8 acres.

Willow Walk Lake

This is a very pretty lake and in the last couple of years several anglers have caught 80 - 100 fish over the season. We have developed Willow Walk as a specimen lake and members can now look forward to fishing this genuine thirties water. We will continue to manage the lake in order to attempt to get maximum growth from the carp, so that more carp become thirties and hopefully in the future we will be able to offer carp in the forty lb category. As a member of Willow Walk you can also now fish for large wels catfish. The largest of which is hopefully now approaching 70lb. Like the Virginia Lake, there are always swims available on Willow Walk, because membership numbers are restricted. What is also very pleasing to note is that the stockpond fish that were put into Willow three years ago at around 3-4lb are now regularly coming out as doubles and many are upper doubles. Anyone who has caught one of these will know what stunning fish they are and will be when they grow even bigger. Roly Marsh had well over a hundred carp out of this pretty lake in 2011. We will be putting dye into the water early in 2012 to hopefully alleviate some of the weed problem of 2011.

Coot Lake  Described by Iain Toombes, who was deputy editor of Improve Your Coarse Fishing at the time, as one of the most attractive lakes he has fished. You can have a day or a few days of brilliant action and usually have a good bag of carp of mid to upper doubles with a good chance of a twenty.  The biggest carp out in 2011 was over 30lb.  There are also some great tench to over 8lb and bream to over 11lb as well as rudd over 2lb. You can almost guarantee action on this lake. An example of the fishing on this lake was Stu Osgathorpe who had over twenty carp to mid twenties in a night's fishing this year.
