All About Me
About the only thing you can put on a web page that hasn't been done by loads of other people is information about yourself, that is unless you are famous. Luckily, I am not famous. So here goes:
My real name is Dave Lilley. The 'Eats-the-Trash' bit came from when I first started using the 'net. I joined a PBEM Werewolf game, which was an off-shoot from the old Rage Listserv group. As I was playing my old Werewolf character, Eats, I thought it would be a good idea to set his name as my e-mail alias. The name sort of stuck. So here I am, years later, still using 'Eats-the-Trash'. I have played the character in virtually every format of roleplaying there is. If you are interested you can get the stats & info on this site.
I live in Frittenden, a small village in Kent, about 40 miles south-east of London. Frittenden got it's name because it was a clearing in the forest where pigs were kept. Now there's no forest & only a few pigs - there's progress for ya!. I spend most of my time in Maidstone, the county town of Kent, which is about a half hours drive away.
Acouple of years back, I found out I was diabetic & I'm now Insulin dependant, which it bit of a blow. Lots of information from Diabetes UK helped me get to grips with it. If you are in the same boat & need to talk about it, I'm more than willing to help you out.
As you may have guessed from my other pages, my main hobby is roleplaying. I am a committee member of 'The Fellowship of Roleplayers', or FRP, our gaming group in Maidstone. The club was first started by a friend who owned the local gaming store & was held on site at the Dungeoneer. I became a business partner in the shop, but after a couple of years we fell foul of a cashflow crisis & the Dungeoneer is now no more. The club lived on & we can now be found at 'The Style & Winch' Pub, Union Street, Maidstone every Tuesday & Wednesday night. Drop Bob, Tony, or myself a line if you are interested in coming along to play or run a game.
I'm bit of a Sci-Fi junkie, with Babylon 5 being my drug of choice,
but I'll watch any other Sci-Fi if I'm in. There are thousands of B5 sites out
there on the 'net, but you should check out the Lurkers Guide for the best content. I
have a, rather sad, encyclopaedic knowledge of Doctor Who & spent a lot of my
childhood hiding behind the sofa, scared out of my wits.![]()
My current employment status is 'in-between jobs'. I was made redundant awhile ago, so if you are looking for a IT Technician or an AutoCAD draugthsperson in the Kent area, I could do with the work.
