Things are a'changing in Rage land. The demise of the 'Rolling Thunder' system at FRPG had altered the release schedule to as follows.
| Title | Release Date: | On Sale: |
| Vegas Edition | June 21 (99) | June 25 (99) |
| Rage Across Dreamlands | October 27 (99) | October 31 (99) |

Ed Bolme, Rage Brand Manager had this to say about the change:
Subject to change without notice, no warranty is made, smoking maybe hazardous to your health, do not taunt happy fun ball, your mileage may vary.
Equinox:
Rolling Thunder did not work out as well as we'd hoped. It was only popular in places, and
it caused us headaches in shipping, solicitation, and market perception. While people are
only too happy to stock older expansions like Ice Age and Shadowlands and charge more for
the cards, they saw last months' RT releases as obsolete, and didn't want them. Go figure.
When we saw an opportunity to pull Rage off RT and hit a cool marketing concept at the
same time, Equinox was born.
Equinox is a 225-card set with 3-tier rarity, plus chases, released in combos and cute
little boosters. We cut the number of chase cards to 5 (instead of 6 for a normal 3-month
RT release) to help make it easier to collect. We also put two tribe cards in each deck,
so you only have to buy three decks. The single release also helps us complete the first
part of the story arc, release it on the vernal equinox, and try to make a bigger splash
in the marketplace. Rarity is being carefully administered to make it collector friendly.
Because you only need one Garou at a time, the Garou are rares. The cards you need more of
are common.
There are other things we're planning that I cannot discuss at this time.
Equinox contains the Stargazers, Silver Fangs, Fianna, Theurge, Ragabash, and Ahroun.
Hey-- where are those Glass Walkers, anyway?
Vegas Edition:
This is a basic set, which will help set the baseline for the game, allow newbies to get
the cards they need, and promote balanced sealed-deck play. Each deck in Vegas Edition
will have 75 cards and be *triple faction*. That's right, any of three factions right out
of the box! The Garou will be carefully chosen to allow the player multiple combinations
of 20 Renown. That'll shake up the sealed deck environment!
There will of course be reprint cards from Phases 1-6; cards like Crush, Hunt Blessing,
etc. And, of course, most of the cards from 1-6 will never again be reprinted, because we
said so. There will be five different decks (hmm... five decks, triple factions... let's
see) and about 100-150 new cards to help make sure the game is balanced among all
factions.
We know that some of you people might feel we're trying to gouge you by making you buy
cards you already have to hunt down the new rares, so as brand manager, I am making this
promise: We'll try to keep the new stuff more common, and any new cards that are rare will
be redeemable for teeth. Fair enough?
Rumble at the Ragnarok:
As part of our goal to teach more people, this'll be a fat booster learn to play thang.
It'll have two Garou, a few Sept cards, and a Combat deck. The whole purpose is to get
people to learn the combat mechanic, which is the heart of Rage.
Rage Across Dreamlands:
This is the current working title for the next expansion. At this point, we expect to
introduce caerns, a new equipment keyword, and a brand-new faction. And it's not the Glass
Walkers. But you've already met the faction's leader.
That's it at the moment. We're working on other cool stuff. We appreciate your support.
You Silver Pack folks, go out there and show us what you're made of! Hit those stores in your area with endless demos!
And hey, thank you all for listening.
Like with Classic Rage, I am a Silver Pack member again. If you own a gaming store in the UK & want Rage Across Las Vegas demos, drop me a line.
Card lists are available here as .txt files: Episode 1, Episode 2, Episode 3, Episode 4, Episode 5 & Episode 6. Cards are listed by Name, Type & Rarity, separated with a [TAB] character for easy conversion to the format of your choice.
For those of you who have not seen any of the new cards yet, have a look at Eric Steele's pages for some scanned images of the preview cards.
It would seem that many of the Classic Rage pages have fallen by the way side, the best of the bunch is Rev. Bob's Rage Pages, from there you can web-ring to the other 'Classic' pages. You would think the Five Rings Publishing Group site was the place for Rage Across Las Vegas info, and now it is. After a huge, long awaited update, it's THE place go.

It's big, it's bad & it's back! To join up you'll need to contact Scott Magner (The Great and Powerful Bhagwan). You'll get four promo cards during the year, The Sacred Ways (a quarterly newsletter), a membership card & the right to vote in Moots, which will affect the storyline & game. One Moot has already been voted on, whether to have 1 foil promo or 4 normal promos per year. As you can see above, it went to 4 normal promos.
