De La Warr Pavilion Bexhill-on-Sea 2004-2006

The Edward Marshall Trust awarded a grant of £50,000 in 2004 to the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill, enabling the commissioning of new chairs for the Pavilion restaurant, cafe and balcony area. Continuity between the outside and inside was paramount, as well as comfort. This was achieved by upholstered seats in the restuarant area and all metal outside.

The new chairs, manufactured by Established & Sons and designed by BarberOsgerby, were installed on the 7th October 2006.
