Bueno,
ya estamos en el avión y estoy con algunos de los alumnos. A ver
qué opinan de todo, y qué quieren ver y hacer durante la
visita a Mallorca.
Natalie:
"I've
now met everyone and I know most people's names. I'm a wee bit worried
about speaking in Spanish all the time, but the safety announcement
on the plane was in Spanish and I understood bits of that. I'm looking
forward to seeing Palma and visiting the schools and seeing what school
life is like in Spain."
Toni
"I'm
looking forward to seeing what Spanish schools are like and I want to
hear the Spanish pupils speaking in English to see how we compare. I
only finished packing my suitcase about 7 o'clock tonight so I've had
a busy day!"
Gemma
"Ya
tengo una nueva amiga. Se llama Laura. I'm looking forward to being
in Spain, shopping and meeting Spanish boys!"

Laura
"Me
gusta ir de compras así que quiero comprar regalos para mi familia
y mis amigos."
Roslyn
"We're
on the plane just now. We're just going to get something to eat and
I hope it's something I like. I'm most looking forward to going shopping
and meeting Spanish people."
Corrie
"Quiero
encontrar a chicos españoles y me encanta ir de compras. Por
eso mañana quiero ir al Corte Inglés. Hi to my mum and
dad and wee brother and big sis xxx! ¡Hasta mañana!"
Cesca
"Sun.
Sand. Shopping. Spanish. ¡Vamos de juerga en Mallorca! Hola a
mamá, papá y a mi hermano mayor. Hola to Auntie Stella
in America and to all my friends."
Kathleen
"I'm
looking forward to the school visits but I'm quite nervous about the
secondary school visits and the street surveys because it's something
I've never done before. Hi to everyone back at home!"
Kate
"I
am looking forward to my visit to Mallorca. I'm a bit nervous about
talking to people in Spanish because I've only been studying it for
a few months. But I'm going to try my best to understand what people
say to me."
Lisa
"I
hadn't packed by the time I got home from school today so it's been
quite a stressful night. But we're on the plane now and everyone seems
really nice. The meal we got was a bit ...meh! Hola to Señor
McL. If anyone wants a goat as a present let me know because we'll be
at the market in Sineu on Wednesday and I can buy one there."
Craig
"I'm
looking forward to experiencing Spanish culture and the lovely Spanish
food, especially calamares! I'm a bit nervous about speaking
to people in Spanish but I'm going to try my best."

Claire
"This
is my third year of Spanish and I'm looking forward to learning more
while we're in Mallorca. I think the most interesting part of the trip
will be our visits to secondary schools because it'll be interesting
to see how they learn English."
Mrs
Buchert
"We'd
just like all our colleagues to know that we're actually working at
2am - translating a CV for one of the azafatas!"
Nicole
"It's
just after 2am and we're flying over Barcelona. I'm half asleep. ¡Buenas
noches a todos! xxx"
Ashley
"Hi
Dad and everyone else. How are you all? We're on the plane and I'm doing
my favourite thing: sleeping! I'll phone you soon! I can't wait to arrive
in Palma and speak some Spanish. Ash xxx"
Hayley
"I'm
looking forward to trying new food and going to the school."
Mark
"Ya
son las 05h40 y acabamos de entrar en nuestras habitaciones en el hotel.
Rooms really nice, lovely views. 23 estudiantes muy cansados y 4 profesores
hechos polvo! ¡Buenas noches a todos!"
Come
back tomorrow for more news from Mallorca!
