| Hoy: día de excursión. Cogimos el autocar a las nueve para ir a Sineu. Durante el viaje dormimos un poco porque todavía estábamos todos muy cansados. ¡La verdad es que siempre estamos cansados porque trabajamos mucho aquí en Mallorca! Al llegar a Sineu, fuimos al mercado en el centro del pueblo. El mercado estaba llena de gente: turistas de todas partes de Europa. Vimos a alemanes, franceses, británicos, italianos, y claro, a españoles. Vimos también a muchos animales en jaulas como por ejemplo conejos, gallinas e incluso caballos y cabras. Lisa compró el regalo para el Sr McLaughlin al mercado. A ver si le gusta... Después de dos horas nos marchamos a Porto Cristo para ver las Cuevas del Drach. Visitamos el lago Martell que es uno de los mayores lagos subterraneos de Europa. Nos gustó mucho el espectaculo de sonido y luz - muy impresionante. Esta tarde invitamos a los profesores españoles con los cuales hemos organizado este viaje. Lo pasamos muy bien. |
Today was Excursion day. We got the coach at 9 o'clock to go to Sineu. During the journey we slept a bit because we were still very tired. To tell the truth we're always very tired because we're working very hard here in Mallorca. On our arrival in Sineu, we went to the market in the centre of the town. The market was full of people: tourists from all over Europe. We saw Germans, French people, Brits, Italians and, of course, Spaniards. We also saw lots of animals in cages like rabbits, hens and even horses and goats. Lisa bought a present for Mr McLaughlin at the market. We hope he likes it... After two hours we headed off to Porto Cristo to see the Caves of Drach. We visited Lake Martell which is one of the biggest subterranean lakes in Europe. We really liked the sound and light show - it was very impressive. This evening we invited the Spanish teachers with whom we've organised this trip. We all had a good time. |
