A note to our colleagues back at home: Thursday's diary is published late so we can include last night's news too. This has nothing to do with late nights or too much partying!

| Por la mañana, fuimos al instituto Juníper Serra que parecía muy organizado y la disciplina era muy buena. Todo el mundo era muy simpático - el director, los profesores y los alumnos. Había alumnos muy diferentes allí: por ejemplo los de ESO, los de bachillerato, los de cine y de fotografía. También había estudiantes de hostelería y ¡unos mecánicos muy guapos! Los alumnos habían preparado una comida muy rica para nosotros. Hicimos una videoconferencia con St Andrew's y St Michael's. Pudimos hablar con nuestros profesores y amigos. Nos hizo mucha ilusión ver a nuestros compañeros de clase bajo la lluvia de Escocia! Conocimos a algunos nuevos amigos españoles e intercambiamos direcciones e emails. Mark sacó muchas fotos otra vez. Más tarde fuimos de compras en Porto Pi. Gastamos mucho dinero. Después de cenar la mayoría del grupo fue a una discoteca que se llamaba Tito's y ¡lo pasamos fenomenal bailando (casi) toda la noche! |
This morning we went to Juníper Serra which seemed very organised and the discipline was very good. Everyone was very nice - the head teacher, the teachers and the students. There was a range of different pupils there: for example 12-16 year olds doing Educación Secundaria Obligatoria, those doing their bachillerato exam, and other students studying television and photography. There were also hospitality students and some very good looking mechanics. The students had prepared a very nice lunch for us. We video-conferenced with St Andrew's and St Michael's. We were able to speak to our teachers and friends. It was really good to see our classmates back home in the Scottish rain! We made new Spanish friends and exchanged addresses and emails. Mark took lots of photos again. Later on we went shopping in Porto Pi. We spent lots of money. After dinner the majority of the group went to a disco called Tito's and we had a great time dancing (almost) all night long! |
