We'll
be picked up in a coach at the hotel at 09:00 and head towards Sineu,
an agricultural town in the area known as Es Pla. Wednesday is market
day in Sineu and you'll be able to buy just about anything from fresh
fruit to leather goods and souvenirs. We'd rather you didn't consider
buying any of the sheep, goats, chickens or horses, though!
We'll
have lunch in Sineu and then return to the coach and head east towards
Porto Cristo and the Coves del Drac, the Caves of the Dragon. These
caves stretch for 2km underground and feature thousands of stalactites
and stalagmites. The caves are also home to one of the largest subterranean
lakes in the world, some 177m long, 40m wide and 30m deep.
After
the Coves del Drac, we'll spend some time in the tourist town of Porto
Cristo before returning to Palma by coach late afternoon.
