

The whole church is
thirteenth century. The church has two chancel arches; the lower one is
original, while the higher one is the remains of a later, abandoned, attempt to
raise the arch. The painting of a huge mediaeval St Christopher can just be
seen on the North wall of the nave and there are remains of other 13th century
wall paintings. It is, however, not so much the architecture, which is not
dissimilar to many other churches in
Because it has no
electricity, services are only held here in the Summer,
when Evensong is sung twice a month on the second and fourth Sundays.
