The District is committed to giving the people of Cumbria opportunities to hear and respond to the good news of Jesus Christ presented in understandable, inspiring and challenging ways, and to inviting them to become his lifelong followers.

Our District Evangelism Enabler, Revd Paul Dunstan, is available to help with all types of evangelistic work. This ranges from planning and running evangelistic events through to helping Christians engage in evangelism and helping churches and groups of churches to develop strategies for mission. Please contact him if:

• Your church or circuit want help to see how they can be more effective in reaching people with God’s love, or
• You know someone in the District who has the ministry of an evangelist, or
• You, your church or circuit want help with sharing faith naturally and effectively, or
• You, your church or circuit would be interested in hosting an evangelistic event, or in helping to provide one, or
• You are enthusiastic about evangelism, or
• You think Paul can help in any other way …

The District is actively supporting Fresh Expressions of Church which are intended to help people with no Church background to meet Jesus Christ.
