It is no accident that this site doesn’t have a guestbook. Your webmaster, having looked at many guestbooks, takes the view that most of them are a self-congratulatory waste of time. Moreover, many of them are abused. Whilst he hopes you will enjoy using this site, he doesn’t really need to be told over-and-over how useful (or otherwise!) it is. He does however welcome your constructive criticism and suggestions for new features or improvements. This page allows you to email him, either with items for inclusion or helpful comments or to email selected officers within the Cumbria district. You may also send material for inclusion via the district internal communications officer, whose details can be found in the district directory.

Bearing in mind the misquoted advice to “write in haste, repent at leisure,” many of you will prefer to consider your words carefully and construct your messages, and assemble any attachments offline, so we list email addresses for the webmaster and selected officers below, so you may either note them down and use them later or click on the title of the officer concerned for immediate use.
