East Kilbride (Industrial Plastics) Limited, was established in 1987 to supply plastics fabrications to the micro-electronics processing industry, located in the central belt of Scotland.

Following rapid growth, and the need to fulfil customer requirements, E.K.I.P. expanded, doubling workshop floor area, allowing the addition of an engineering machine shop, complete with lathes, mills, drills and special purpose machinery for in-house fabrication and jointing of sophisticated pipework systems including PVDF and PFA materials.

Having gained valuable experience from past contracts, the Company expanded its customer base to include Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Food, Oil Related, Power Generating and Building Industries.

Over the years the Company has grown and built on its reputation as a respected and technically competent plastics fabrication and machining organisation, with the ability to offer customers a "complete solution" to their fabrication, machining, installation and testing requirements.

The Company specialises in prototype and experimental work with backup from independent test houses.

The workforce are fully conversant with "Permit to work" procedures and have extensive experience in installation of plastics extract ductwork, and plastic pipework installation in "Clean Areas" appertaining to wafer fabrication.

The Company now offers a 24-hour call out service to meet customer's requirements in an emergency.

The Company has formed a strong business association with Proshield Limited who specialise in control panels, PLCs and all aspects of electrical installations offering a complete turnkey package, design, manufacture, install and commission of Slurry Systems and Effluent Treatment Plant.
