DUAL CONTAINMENT SYSTEM

The conception of "Secondary Containment" was born of the need to transport hazardous liquids contained in a pipeline, with minimum risk to life and environment, and in event of failure of pipeline, the hazard would be contained.

With safety being the major design factor, taking into consideration the event of failure of the pipe containing the liquid and the containment of the escaped liquid to prevent contamination to the environment in the short term and equally important in the long term.

The solutions to this problem are wide and varied but taking into consideration readily available products and existing manufacturing methods, the apparent choice was to encase the carrier pipe transporting the liquid within a second pipe (containment pipe).

There are various suppliers of systems that would comply with the above, but it would appear that they are in the market to sell their own systems, and not a system to suit the application of the client.

We offer a bespoke system to suit the clients requirements, using various manufacturer's products and materials with the bias to the client and not the manufacturer.
