EMERGENCY WASHDOWN SHOWER UNITS

The "Emergency Washdown Shower" was designed for use in Clean Areas in the micro-electronics production industry, but can be used in any corrosive environment where materials other than plastics would have a short life span.

Shower can be "Flush Mounted" if building has service chase behind Clean Area.

The Shower is actuated by standing on the floor grille, which controls the water valve and remote signalling equipment fitted if required, or alternatively, the shower can be activated by lever operations.

Facilities engineers and safety officers employed in the micro-electronics industry were consulted with reference to the design and application of the shower unit, and after discussion, the present design was accepted as the basis for all shower units.

The Shower can be manufactured from various materials including Arctic White Polypropylene and FM 4910 approved sheet i.e. Corzan
