VALVE MANIFOLD BOX

Photograph of EKIP's basic Valve Manifold Box as used in the distribution of high purity chemicals.

The box can be manufactured from various materials including Arctic White Polypropylene and FM 4910 approved sheet i.e. Corzan  as an all welded construction complete with a removable transparent PVC front cover which has an internal "O" ring seal to front face of box.  The front cover is fixed to box using quick release stainless steel fixings.

The box is effectively Secondary containment for the incoming and outgoing pipework.

The PFA control valves are "Entegris" [formerly Fluoroware] supply and are manual and actuated valves.

The jointing of "Sticks" were undertaken in our 100K clean room to ensure integrity of joints and cleanliness of assembly.

All joints were purebond welded by EKIP's Fluoroware certificated welder.  The boxes have a leak detection system fitted signalling back to main security and a local audio/visual signal.

In the event of a leakage in the system, the pipework system should be so designed that any leaking fluid in the pipework should drain back to box actuating the alarm system.

An internal manually operated wash down system can be fitted to ensure box is washed down prior to service engineers removing front cover.

Box final design is after discussion with client to ensure design is optimum.
