A Day Out - June 2002

I love it when they tell me "Tess is going in the car." Of course one never knows where one ends up. Sometimes it is nothing but the supermarket car park, but some days I am lucky.
This was a good trip. We visited an old ruined castle, there were some very nice muddy walks, and a duck pond, where they washed me before we went back to the car.
I met a lot of strange dogs, some of them were quite scared of me. One silly little lapdog was so scared that the woman picked it up, so I had to jump up on her to get a proper sniff.

There was this field and I saw some big, brown, woolly things - I didn't realize they were alive until one of them moved. It startled me. I ran off barking, but then went back to have a better look.

What a face. They called them Scottish Highland Cattle and mom thinks they are cute.

Sticks are always fun. I chew sticks and eat them.

I am so indignant. They tied me up. Have I been that bad?
