Dog: ALFIE
LABRADOR 10 weeks
Alfie is a wonderful dog. He is so well behaved and has become a part of our family very quickly. He is just starting to enjoy going for short walks in the beautiful New Forest. We are very proud of him.

Dog: Robbie
15 month old Black labrador
Robbie is really sweet we got him not long ago from the blue cross at topcliffe. I am afraid that i dont have a picture of him but you would love him. He has the best ears ever!! We call him batlugs i think if he flapped them he would take off! You can tell how he is feeling from his ears if he is listening they stick right out from his head. Robbie likes to chew arms as a sign of affection. He is a wimp though and he wont go in the water if his ball goes in i have to get it! I love my dog very much and i am sure you would to if you met him.

Dog: Winston
Labrador Retriever - 3 years

We have only just taken ownership of Winston. He was previously with the Justice Department at a maximum security prison. He has a great sniffing nose, wonderful temperament and loves to play. His intelligence is often overwhelming.

Dog: Vesta
Black Lab
Vesta is a peppy black lab. She is a Guide Dog Puppy in Training. I have had her since July 11, 2002. She was born on May 7, 2002. Vesta comes from a long line of Guide Dogs that have been serving for 60 years. She loves to go on walks, play with her gayla bone and go to work with her Mom everyday. She loves to see her brother Ving that is being raised by my sister in Elko as well. I love her dearly and its going to tear me up when she goes off to College. I knew what I was in for. Its like foster parenting. But well worth it when you see the ending results. Her favorite game is playing tug with her rope. She just lets herself go haha.

Dog: Rayder
Black Lab 7 weeks
My puppy loves his football. He also sits on it, like it is a chair. Right now, he is still young, so he is in the biting stage. His favorite things to eat are his pig ears.

Dog: Cookie
Black Labrador , 2 years in July
Cookie is a smart dumb kind of dog. She knows how to open doors, but she runs away and when she gets home, i'm always mad at her but she still runs away. She chews on everything she can get a hold of, if there isn't anything she can get a hold of, my cat comes along and knocks it off of something for her X_X. I guess dogs will be dogs.

Dog: Pinkerton
Labrador - deceased
In loving Memory.
1989 - 2002.

Pinkerton was a very unique lab, a city dog true and thru. (I lived in New York at the time). Loved water if it was a pool, but avoided puddles and grass at all costs. I'm sure he thought that I lived in his house, as he had rights to his side of the bed and the sofa. This picture was for a Christmas Card, 5mths before he died of a terminal illness. His Love and Companionship is greatly missed.

Dog: HOMER
LABRADOR CROSS - AGE 11MONTHS
Homer was a Labrador cross with a Collie, he was black with a white bib. He didn't like the car much but used to sing along to the radio. He had his own little teddy he used to love playing with, and he loved going to the park with me and his dad. He was great with kids and all he wanted was someone to play with him and cuddle him. Sadly on April 15 2003 he took an extra step out onto the road outside the house and was hit by a passing Transit Van, unfortunately he didn't make it, the impact was too much for him. All we can do now is remember him for all the joy he brought into our lives. He will be sadly missed. Mummy will always love you xcxcxc.

Dog: Sweep
Black Labrador aged 5 3/4
Sweep likes chasing around with our daughter arguing about who owns the cardboard tube or pop bottle that one of them is carrying in their mouth/hand (depending on who has it at the time!) As well as going for a long run at the beach he also loves chasing the water coming from the hosepipe in the garden. Labs and water mix too well! Love the website Tess!

Dog: Roddy
Labrador aged 2.5yrs
Hi Tess, just letting you know how I am getting on in my new home. I've been here nearly a month now. The foods great and I now have my own toys too. This one is one of my favorites. When my 'mon & dad' go out they squirt cheesy ham spread in it so I wont be so upset at being left. I think its helping a lot. I've heard I am going to start training classes soon too (whats that all about?) Have you been to school Tess? Take care and keep up the great site(n.b. havent seen any new pictures of you for ages, what fun things have you been up to?

Dog: Skater
Black Lab
I adopted Skater from a local animal shelter. My vet seems to think that he is black lab and possibly New Foundland or St. Bernard. Skater is 4 1/2 months old and weighs 42 lbs., he is coal black and looks like a black lab. Due to the fact we live on a large lake, my husband has always wanted a Skater Power Boat. Well, I guess this is as close as he will get. This is our first lab and so far a very enjoyable experience.
