Dog: Lea Black Lab Mix. She's 10 months old.
Lea is a bundle of pure energy. She can run like the wind and has to do this every day! She would eat anything she can find when she's outside, if we let her that is!! She has a huge appetite and loves to play with tennis balls, sticks, squeaky toys, pig's ears, you name it. Actually we are still trying to figure out what kind of other breeds may be mixed into her black labrador blood. Maybe you can help us work it out if I send a picture or two. We got her from an animal shelter where she had been moved to from Italy. She has webbed skin between her toes and very big paws! We love our baby, so we want to know what kinds of breeds have made this unique character!!
Many thanks, Wendy and Seb

Dog: Jessie Black Labrador, 1 year old
We got Jessie from Guiding Eyes for the Blind because she was too exiteable to be a guide dog. Her favorite things are playing with her best friend and fellow black lab, Chloe, attention from anyone in the world, and, surprise surprise, food. She's so cute, though!!!

Dog: Athena
Golden retriever/rough collie , born 1 oct. 2003
Athena has never tasted anything else than her Techni-cal dogfood. She likes to play in the garden and when we go for a walk she has her nose close to the ground so we really dont walk so much :) She has two good friends, Kolla, 2 year old labrador and Vinur 13 weeks old icelandic+ something!!! She sleeps a lot and has to be close to her owner while sleeping, at least have something that smells like the owner :) She loves it when I give her a dried pig's ear. And she has a soft toy, yellow duck and she often hugs it.

Dog: Becky
The photos of Tess are remarkably similar to our black lab Becky. I was interested to view Tess' pedigree - Her Gt Grandpa was becky's dad, and 8 of Tess' Gt Gt Grandparents are also in Becky's pedigree! As you can see Becky is every bit as soft as your dog - she takes the yellow fluffy duck everywhere and so far it has lasted a year and only lost a beak! We inheritied Becky 2 years ago, just 6 weeks after our own black lab had died aged 14. Coming from a quiet life to our mad family has suited her well and she has gone thro a 2nd puppyhood - stealing socks etc!

Another family member. She looks like me, too! - Tess.

This is my "cousin" Roskva. She is an Irish Wolfhound, so she is not really my cousin, but as she belongs to my "mom's" cousin, Silla, we are family.

And this is Eyja, Roskva's "sister." She is an Icelandic Sheepdog. Roskva and Eyja live in Akureyri, Iceland, and they both have their own home pages.

ROSKVA
EYJA

Take a look, and see what it is like being a dog in Iceland. (My "mom" is from Iceland and I would love to go there with her for a visit, but cannot because of their strict quarantine laws). - Tess.

Dog: Tess
Black Lab.
Hi,just thought you would like to know that i have a black labrador pup called Tess, she's nearly six months old and her great great grandparents were also F.T.C.H HARETOR MARK OF DRAKESHEAD AND F.T.W DRAKESHEAD GYPSY. I guess that makes them related. She loves fetching stones in the house for her owners to stand on.

Hi there cousin Tess! - Tess.

Dog: Jet
My beautiful dog Jet, who is SOOO sweet. Jet is about 2 years old. He constantly carries his comforter (his blankets, and the odd tea towel that he will steal from the radiator) around with him and will love you to death once he gets to know you. We think that he has a bit of collie in him, as he has the ears and stance of one. He is full of life and loves to sit on your knee or if he is scared - on your feet.
