 From: Lisa and Eric Salem, OR Dog: Pansy Black Lab - 9 1/2 months Our puppy is wonderful. She loves to play with her big sister (our daughter) on the swing set and she hates to be alone. She is a bit spoiled I would say and runs the show (to a sensible degree). She was the runt of the litter and at 8 weeks weighed a tiny 3.5 lbs, today she is weighing in at 55 lbs, still pretty small and we hope that she stays that way. We couldn't have asked for a better dog and we love her to pieces. Black labs are by far the best breed for a family with children! (personal opinion).

She loves to lay in my lap and go to sleep. She's already potty trained almost. She knows when she has done something wrong. She is Kennel Trained.  Hi Tess! I love your page. I have a 6 month old puppy- mostly black lab, apparently, but she also has a "mystery mix." Her name is Phoebe and she loves a lot of the same things Tess loves- naps, walks, people food, etc. In fact, they even have the same toy- as you can see in this picture. Her new favorite new Christmas toy is a stuffed mallard that quacks. She also hunts lizards in the summer. She is soooo loveable and the smartest little girl in our yard. She just turned one on December 28,2002 and she is about 10 lbs.overweight but we are working on it. She loves to play with her tennis ball and do all kinds of tricks. She is really a beautiful little girl. She loves Kibbles and Chunks and Canine Carryouts.  This is Rory He is a "Westie" (West Highland Terrier). Rory is Tess' best friend. He is a neighbour, and they meet almost every morning for a walk around the park, along with poodle Bliss and several other doggie friends. Rory is a brave little dog, and he always looks out for Tess. If he thinks other male dogs are coming too close, he will tell them just who is the leader of the pack, regardless of size.
