Friday 4th August, King's Head STONY   Effortless harmonies of covers and originals, these guys have been dominating the circuit up and down the country. Singer/guitarist Richard Adams and Singer/pianist Mark Gordon have worked together for many years, but for the past five have been touring as STONY, forging their own unique brand of powerful, emotive, acoustic-based music.   Stony's mixture of often driving piano and acoustic guitar, combined with beautiful vocal harmonies has a very distinctive and original live sound. Steve James is renowned just about everywhere, but he's legendary in his home town of Austin Texas. If you love the blues, and who doesn't, when it comes to it, you've got to make a special date to listen in on this superb professional, on his way to one of the best Blues Festivals in the UK. So why not experience the music in the intimate function room of the King's Head?
