Friday 2nd June, King's Head

HOKUM HOT SHOTS!

Jim Murray playing slide guitar, national guitar, dobro, mandolin, and providing intriguing counterpoint razzamatazz to Pete Mason's acerbic humour, also on guitar and tiple (baby 10 string guitar), this superb duo has spent 31 years in the biz, and you know that's guaranteed professionalism. Presenting 30s and 40s blues, ragtime, jazz and Hawaiian tunes with irrepressible wit and humour.

Tickets only £5.00 available at the door.

SATURDAY, JUNE 3rd

ALLENDALE'S MAY FAIR

at Costa dale Sol

We were there, in the rain, and of course, the Evening Chronicle, for whose Sunshine Fund most of the Fair's proceeds went, ran a photograph of the human skittles (Mangold Danglers), featuring Lynda MacGregor and Stephanie Atkinson as the last remaining NMNers still standing (just!) in our heat.

You've never seen Mangold Dangling like this!
