NEBULA
Friday May 7th,
King's Head, Allendale
Kicking off May's
programme, we're really pleased to present Dave Hutchinson
and Roly Hindmarch who are Nebula. With their new CD
released for 1999, 'Sailing On', to add to their discography
'Roving for Pleasure', 'Another Round', and 'Rangers for a
Plack', this hard-working north-eastern band looks like
providing a delightful night for one and all (and they're
booked for every club all around from Sunderland to North
Yorkshire, Lancashire, Berwick, Barnard Castle, and finally,
Allendale!) Look out for plenty of tunes, great good humour,
and brilliant songs. We've heard plenty of 'Hutch' over the
years, and so it's good to welcome him and Roly onto the
intimate stage.

MUSIC NIGHT
Friday, May
14th
Another brilliant
Friday evening around the fire, or maybe just a few embers,
now that it's getting warmer, with our own entertainers and
a pleasant audience providing lots of good cheer,
friendliness, applause and fun. These evenings just keep
getting better and better. New performers always come
around, and new audiences, so the thing to do is to turn up
and see what's happening. Typically, the evenings consist of
2 sessions of sing-around or play-around, when each
entertainer provides us with a couple of numbers. We have a
small break for the raffle, which supports the whole
enterprise, and then have another go, getting either more
silly, or more serious, as the mood, or the libation, takes
us.
Tickets only
£1.00 or 50 p concessions.

And here we go
again! A little bit nicer, just before the midgies come out!
Yes, it's another brilliant Friday evening, with our own
entertainers and a pleasant audience providing lots of good
cheer, friendliness, applause and fun. These evenings just
keep getting better and better -- every fortnight is the
formula, typically, if we can manage it, on the 2nd and 4th
Fridays of the month. New performers always come around, and
new audiences, so the thing to do is to turn up and see

and typing it in! The current schedule is booked now until
almost the end of the year, and the newsletter runs through
until the end of June. If we haven't updated this website to
show these bookings, it's only because we haven't yet got
around to it. We are always working, working,
working.
