Renowned entertainer Brendan Healy brings his band of top musicians to Allendale with very special guest John Miles for a musical journey of top rock and R&B. John is one of the top musicians that the North has ever produced whose incredible talent is acknowledge the world over. So it's a rare treat to see him playing locally in such an intimate setting. Although highly acclaimed for his song writing, John has toured with the likes of Joe Cocker and Jimmy Page, but even more impressively, he has done three mega world tours as guitarist for the First Lady of Rock, Tina Turner. In complete contrast, John works with the Belgium Proms each October and November where he is the musical director with the Electric Band who play with the Novenceu Orchestra. This show at Allendale Village Hall is a golden opportunity to see John Miles in such close surroundings playing some of his favourite songs. The set will feature some of his own superb compositions such as 'Music', 'Slow Down' and 'High Fly', plus lots of rock and R&B classics such as 'Superstition', 'Talk to your daughter' and 'When you love someone'. With Brendan on keyboards and vocals, the excellent line-up is complete with Frederick Hill on bass and Simon Ferry on drums. There will be a full house, so get your tickets early and get set to rock.
