Notes from a Novice

I'd seen Lawn Mower Racing a couple of times at country shows around Sussex. I thought 'this looks fun, let's find out a bit more'. I found the details of the British Lawn Mower Racing Association on the internet. I rang their President, Jim Gavin & from there I've not looked back!

This site is intended to record the highs & lows of getting started. I really want to show you what it's been like building a racing mower in my garage with no specialist skills. If I can do it so can you. This site won't tell you how to build a Racing Lawn Mower (as a beginner, I'm the last person to do that) but it will give you a flavour of what to expect if you choose to have a go.
