Some of the programs on this site will only operate correctly with Internet Explorer (version 4 or later). Some also need the phonetic font Ipa-sams Uclphon1 SILSophiaL to be installed on your computer. You can obtain this, and other phonetic fonts, at

If you do not have this font, the phonetic transcriptions will appear as ordinary characters. For details see section "How to input your transcription" on the Transcriber help page.
