Preparation The item to be polished should be clean and free from oil and grease. If the surface of the item is heavily scratched, marked or scored then suitable abrasives should be used before polishing.
If
the surface of the work piece is lacquered this must be removed
before polishing. Use an automotive paint remover and please
remember to use appropriate safety gear. Which Mop Do I Use?
In general, the 3” x 1”
white mop should be used on large, east to reach areas. The 3” x ½”
white mop should be used for difficult to reach areas. The goblet
mop should be used for internal diameters and the polishing felt for
awkward areas such as in between spokes. Using Your Polishing Kit | ||
