Sisal (Stapol) Mops
Fast cutting first stage polishing mop for
polishing out grinding marks left from previous abrasive
finishing operation. Use with grey), green or pink compound.
Suitable
for first stage polishing of steel, aluminium alloys,
stainless steel and iron.

Colour
Mops
Versatile cutting mops for general polishing, can be used as
first stage polishing with green or Tripoli compounds on
soft metals (brass, copper, etc), or as a second process
polishing on hard metals with green compound. These mops can
also be coated with abrasive for ‘scurfing’ and abrasive
finishing operations after prior treating with abrasive and
cement such as Coldax. |

White
Mops
A very popular and versatile grade of polishing mop, similar
to the colour mop but slightly softer. Commonly used for
first stage polishing of soft metals (copper, brass, etc)
with green or Tripoli compound and second stage polishing of
harder metals (Steel, stainless steel, iron, aluminum, etc)
with green compound. Available open stitch for better
finishing and close stitch for better cutting. |

Calico
B Mops
Good general polishing mops for final finishing on harder
metals such as steel, stainless steel and iron, use with
blue compound or chrome green for a very high finish. These
mops are also used for first stage polishing on Copper,
brass, pewter, gold, silver and most hard plastics with
Tripoli compound. |

Calico
G Mop
A soft grade mop for final finishing on all hard and soft
metals use with blue compound, Chrome Green or Rouge.
Suitable for fine finishing of plastics with Vonax. |

WDR
Mops
A very soft grade of finishing mop. A softer alternative to
G quality. Only available in 4”, 6” and 8”. |

R Mops
A superior quality, very soft finishing mop for use on
precious metals, aluminum alloys and plastics. Does not fray
or leave as much dust as other finishing mops. Use with
Rouge for precious metals, Hyfin other metals and Vonax on
plastics. Only available in 4”, 6” & 8” |
