Polishing Awkward Areas
Standard mops
may not be able to reach certain areas to you wish to polish, there
are a selection of products which enable you to reach areas such
motorcycle frames, wheels and car alloy wheels. All of these
products can be used with a standard drill with an adaptor.
Drill Adapters
There are two sizes of adaptors available which fit into a standard
drill chuck. Standard and long, for when extra reach is needed.
Bottom Mops
Ideal for basins, metal cups, sauce pans and inside of trophies etc.
Available in four grades Sisal (hard), White (medium), Brown (soft)
& Satin. With the sisal, white & brown use polishing compounds and
with the satin no compounds is needed. One size available 64mm
diameter x 70mm length.
Dolly Mops
Available in three grades Sisal (hard), B Quality (medium) and G
Quality (soft). Can with standard polishing compounds and also
greaseless compound. Three sizes available 50mm x 25mm (2"x1"), 38mm
x 25mm (1 1/2"x1") and 25mm x 25mm (1"x1").
Felts
A very flexible product available in a variety of shapes and sizes.
Can be used with polishing compounds, greaseless compound or with
wheel cement. (with very small shanked felts you may find it
difficult to coat felt with wheel cement or greaseless compound).
There are two types of felts, mounted and un-mounted, the un-mounted
will need an adaptor.
Flap Wheels on Shanks
For pre-polishing flap wheels can easily remove deep marks and
scratches, available in a variety of sizes to enable you to reach
awkward area. Flap wheels come mounted on shanks which means no
adaptor is needed.
