The Earth is our most valuable possession, protect it with radio

Often the practical applications of poor technology have ironic consequences that would cost millions for the average "Respectable Scientist" to duplicate. Take for example when listening to the radio with a poor (or broken) aerial or listening to a poor quality pirate channel. I know we have all done this, but have you ever noticed how if you stand in the certain positions, the reception quality gets better or worse? This can make an ideal burglar alarm!

From the most battered radio the best burglar alarms come. No thief no matter how stealthy could approach a priceless jewel if there was a battered and badly tuned radio beside it without wrecking the reception. All the "Respectable Scientists" need to do is develop highly priced acoustic software to analyse the minute variations in the signal and route the results to the nearest police station for instant burgle prevention.

Another practical application of Low technology is the small bathroom, shower or toilet. On the television we see musicians of all shapes and sizes in recording studios, behind the glass sit dozens of experts tweaking knobs to get the sound just right. As we all know the small bathroom or toilet takes care of all this acoustic adjustment for you. If the toilet has a glass door - even better. The record company rep can stand outside with a tape recorder and watch while the musician sings to his heart's content and his voice will sound great.

"Respectable Scientists" are still baffled as to the why and there a number of theories, but everyone agrees that your voice sounds great when you sing in a small bathroom, shower or toilet.
