YOU'RE HERE - WELCOME to my updated pages
G4AQY's Radio Station is located in Greenwich

Dave - G4AQY was born 15th Sept' 1945, became interested in the radio hobby in 1956 aged 11, passed the written Radio Amateurs Examination in 1961 aged 16, and finally applied for the ticket and was on the air in 1971.

Many valves later of course much RF has been blasted around the globe!

Take a look at my surburban  HF Aerial  solution courtesy of an  SGC Smartuner  and pictures of the 1970's
gear in my  Radio Shack.

You can view pics of my  local area  with extended offsite links or print a  qsl card  and for military
wireless buffs like myself then you will find Dave's Green Pages  have something of interest including items for sale.

Also  WebRing links  so give that mouse a hard time!

I hope you enjoy this site and most importantly keep your earth well watered.

-Albert Einstein, when asked to describe radio, replied:
"You see, wire telegraph is a kind of a very, very long cat. You pull his tail in New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? And radio operates exactly the same way:
you send signals here, they receive them there. The only difference is that there is no cat
