For nearly 30 years Stag has been at the forefront of high performance, high reliability device programming technology. Founded in the mid 1970s to satisfy the need for electronic equipment manufacturers to program the new silicon devices of that era, Stag has proven to be a great British success story.

From those humble beginnings Stag has maintained a successful track record of innovation and leadership in the industry and is today arguably the largest European manufacturer of device programmers, with exports accounting for more than 50% of sales.

Over the years Stag has formed strong alliances with many of the world’s leading silicon manufacturers to ensure our customers benefit from the latest approved device support algorithms in anticipation of their future new product development and production needs.

With a network of 40 agents and distributors spanning the globe, supply and service of our customers’ Stag programming equipment is always just around the corner.

Today, Stag is a wholly owned subsidiary of the IMO Group, a privately owned highly successful £20M British organisation that has been involved in the manufacture and supply of automation and control components for over 30 years.

Although Stag continues to run as an autonomous business the financial strength of the IMO Group means Stag has access to greater investment and financial support than ever before.

In March 2003 Stag relocated to the prestigious Group headquarters at Staples Corner, London and investment has already been put to good use to ensure the best possible software, engineering and delivery support for its customers to improve service levels.
