Wearwulf will use the Philips LPC2106 processor. A modern ARM-based microcontroller, the LPC2106 has built-in RAM and FLASH, and access to a wide range of peripherals. More importantly, the LPC2106 achieves this in a tiny 48-pin package.

The key features that will be used in the Wearwulf wearable computer are:
The Philips LPC2106 processor is relatively slow by modern standards, but easily fast enough to perform PDA style operations (until recently Palm computers used a 16MHz Dragonball processor). To extract the maximum potential out of the processor, a custom operating system and tailored applications will be required.
