• The Bible gives a number of clear grounds where a Christian can freely divorce their spouse.

• The Bible contains a number of key insights which make its teaching on divorce easy to understand. Without these insights, in our culture, we can easily become confused about what the Bible is saying.
• The Bible is our sole guide on God's view of marriage, divorce and remarriage, and so we need to consider all the relevant scriptures, not just one or two verses out of context.
