James Waters
- Goalkeeper
Previously
with Needham Market James joined the Seasiders mid-October. A tall and strong
keeper who commands his area James is only 18 and maturing with every game.
Gary Rose
- Goalkeeper
Pre season signing, Gary was formerly with Woodbridge
Town, having joined the Woodpeckers from Leiston at the start of the 2008-09
season.
Paul Cudworth
- Goalkeeper
A member of the successful promotion side Paul makes a
welcome return to the Club after leaving due to work commitments.
Joe Bloomfield – Defender
A young player with experience at Ipswich, Joe who loves to go forward from
defence is highly talented and for the last two seasons a member of the successful Suffolk Under 18 side.
Ben Wake – Defender
A young player but already an experienced defender, Ben joined the Seasiders at the end
of September 2009 from Norwich United.
Miles Powell
– Defender
A product of the
Club's successful Youth structure, Miles is confident on the ball and certainly
one to watch for the future.
Tes Bramble
– Defender
A powerful
defender Tes signed for the Seasiders at the start of the season.
Blake Saker – Defender
Signed from Leiston in March 2009.
Blake, a former trainee with
Tottenham and a highly respected defender, joined the Seasiders after six very successful seasons
with Leiston.
Matt Stace
- Defender
A strong and experienced defender, Matt joined the Club as Captain at the start
of the season having previously been at Harwich & Parkeston and AFC
Sudbury. Matt has quickly become a well respected Captain and is very popular at
the Club.
Martin Calver - Midfield
Transferred from Harwich & Parkeston at the beginning of September 2009,
Martin has formed an excellent defensive partnership with Stackers to provide an
excellent platform the the team to build from.
Duane Wright - Midfield
Joined from Whitton United in January 2009, Duane is a versatile player equally
at home in attack or winning the ball in midfield.
Lee Norfolk
- Midfield
Born in New Zealand Lee represented
his country at junior level, scoring in a 3-0 win over Fiji in Napier in 1991.
He was the first New Zealander to play in the FA Premier League making four
appearances for Ipswich Town, after graduating from the youth team, the first of
which was at home to Southampton in the FA Premier League on 25th February 1995.
Former Clubs include Kings Lynn,
Bishops Stortford, North Shore United,
Sudbury Wanderers, Needham Market,
Halstead Town & Diss Town.
Bradley Barber - Midfield
Transferred from Hadleigh United at the beginning of November 2008 for his second
spell at the Club, Bradley is a stylish player who controls and distributes the
ball well.
Adam Hampson - Midfield
Transferred from Wivenhoe following a very successful loan period. Adam fights
above his weight has fast feet and a powerful shot.
Gavin Frost - Midfield
Rejoined the Seasiders at the end of November 2009 from Norwich United. Frosty a
member of the promotion winning side makes a welcome return to Dellwood Avenue
where his battling play in mid-field made him a favourite with the Seasider's
supporters.
Kristian Haighton -
Midfield
A product of the Club's youth policy Kris is quickly establishing himself in the
first team squad.
Luke Read -
Midfield
A young player with great promise, Luke joined the Seasiders from Woodbridge in
September 2009.
Matt Mackenzie - Forward
Another young player who has been with the Club for many years and is now
knocking on the first team door.
Ben Cranfield - Forward
Previously with Halstead Town Ben joined the Seasiders pre-season.
Lewis Driver –
Forward
Signed just before the start of the new season Lewis, 20 years old, is tall and
strong and a good prospect.
Keith
Hetherington – Forward
Re-joined the
Seasiders from Norwich United September 2009, Keith is a proven goal scorer and
makes a welcome return to Dellwood Avenue.
Glen Driver - Manager
A popular and talented Eastern Counties footballer,
Glen started
his Managerial career at Leiston and was appointed Manager at Felixstowe &
Walton United on 24th October 2008.
Tony Kinsella - 1st Team Coach
A
highly respected Coach and former Football League player with Millwall and
Ipswich Town, Tony has joined forces with Glen to produce an exciting and
enthusiastic partnership committed to developing young talent.
Stuart Bevis - Physio
A long career with Colchester, Chelsea, Tottenham, Millwall and the Welsh
Under 18 side on Stuarts CV. Now in 'semi retirement' we are privileged to have
Stuart as a member of the team.
