Directions from Coldstream

Take the A697 towards Edinburgh.  After about 1 mile (1.6 Km) turn left onto the A698 towards Kelso.  Continue for about one and a half miles (2.4 Km) and take the second road on the right almost immediately after the road signposted "Haigsfield".  Fernyrig farm is about three quarter of a mile (1.2 Km) on the right hand side.  There is a sign at the end of the driveway.

Directions from Kelso

Take the A698 towards Coldstream and drive through the village of Birgham.  About 300 metres after leaving the 30 m.p.h limit take the first turn on the left on the sharp bend (not the second road signposted "Haigsfield").  Fernyrig Farm is about three quarters of a mile (1.6 Km) on the right hand side.  There is a sign at the end of the driveway.

Directions from Edinburgh

Take the A68 southwards towards Jedburgh.  Drive over the hill at Soutra where you will see a lot of wind turbines  and down the other side.  Take a left turn onto the A697 towards Coldstream.  Continue and pass through the town of Greenlaw and continue for about another six miles (9.6 Km).  Turn right onto the B6461 towards Kelso.  drive into Eccles village and turn left immediately after passing the village hall towards Birgham.  Continue for about 1 mile (1.6Km)

and take the first road on the left at Eccles Newton (Follow the cycle route signs to the left)  Fernyrig Farm is about half a mile further on the left hand side.  there is a sign at the end of the driveway.

The nearest rail station is at Berwick Upon Tweed which is about 19 miles (30Km).
