Finn Harps JFC was formed in January 2001 with 2 Dads and just 8 boys. These boys brought along their school friends and brothers giving us enough players to play a few friendly matches. By the summer-time, Finn Harps Juniors were able to enter the Merseyside Youth Association Mini Soccer League at under11's and Under 9's. After a successful first full season, the club in its 2nd year expanded to 3 teams at Under9,10 and 12.The third year of FHJ saw another new team giving us Under9,10,11 and 13's.Now into its 4th season Finn Harps Juniors have 5 teams competing in the MYA and Tuebrook leagues, from under 10's to under 14's and coaching for under 8's and 13's. With very good training facilities at various local school gyms and playing fields, together with 5 FA qualified coaches, a Child Protection Officer and a number of First-Aiders, the club is now going from strength to strength. This is a credit to all the boys, girls, parents and committee in helping to run a successful and enjoyable Football Club. Established since 2001 and affiliated to the Liverpool County FA. A club for children, run for their enjoyment, consisting of teams at under 8's / 10's /3 at 12's / 13's/ 14's / 15's / 16's. |
