Well I was determined to leave the GTS alone, but it just wasn't to be. The desire to modify, customise and improve one's bike is a hard one to resist. I've started some subtle changes to my own GTS, but in the meantime here is a tantalising glimpse of Pete Piazza's suberb modified mount.

The bike features JE 1.5mm oversize pistons giving a compression of about 12.5:1. The transmission was changed to a 6 speed unit from a retired 0W01 (YZF750SP). The cylinder head got a porting & a valve job. The exhaust is comprised of a SS multipiece header, the mufflers are aftermarket replacement units originally destined for a XXX & the collector that makes it all come together is an inhouse unit which also houses the O2 sensor.

VFR GTS
Can't tell you much about this VFR
rear ended GTS, except to say it looks really great ! Many thanks to
Nick Threader for sending these, but whose bike it is it, does it
