One of the guys on the GTS list needed someone to pop down to Renegade Exhausts, near Brands hatch UK, to trial fit an exhaust. He couldn't do it himself as he was in the States ! Anyhow, had nothing better to do and any excuse will suffice to take the new beast for a spin ! Met Jorge the owner and he set to work.
Perhaps not easily seen by this shot, but
there's around 1" clearance between the can and
pannier.
The system sounds glorious, but by no means loud, thanks mainly to the baffling in the 'cat'. It certainly would not produce noise that would grow tiresome on a long trip.
The can has been positioned as to ensure adequate clearance of the panniers, brake pedal, stand etc and looks really good. Obviously a pattern was kept, so in future a Renegade replacement system will be available. For price etc contact Jorge via the Renegade website.
Incidentally, it was Jorge at renegade that made the exhaust for the GTS1000 that competed at the Isle of Man TT.
