Links

Every good page must have one of these and mine should be no exception. I have been collecting links to pages containing FJ related material for some time. I find new links at a rate of about one a month. I will update this section as the links become broken and as new ones become available.

Informational Pages

FJ1100.COMis an excellent resource for information on the FJ. The Webmaster (Gary Foreman) is responsible for creating the FJ Micro Fiche CD as well as starting the FJ Yahoo Club.

FJ Specs A complete listing of performance related information on the FJ pulled from old magazine comparisons and manufacturer specifications.

The FJ FAQ If you have a question regarding the FJ you should look here first.

Motorcycle Consumer News Article: FJ1100-1200 Used Bike Buyers Guide This was published in 1997. It is very complete in it's description of what to be leery of when looking to buy a used FJ. As well as, what people like about the FJ and what they dislike. I found this page to be interesting even after I purchased my FJ.

The FJ Modifications Page Barry Edwards has done a fine job of assembling information on personalizing the FJ. Check out the photo gallery. There are some very cool bikes on display.

Wrenching With Rob Page 1, Page 2 A comprehensive look at motorcycle chassis alignment. (The wheel swap Bible!)

Motorcycle Memories A great source for reprints of motorcycle magazines and brochures featuring the FJ and other bikes from the 80's and 90's

The FJ Registry A site devoted to cataloging FJ's by owner and Vehicle Identification Number. Register your FJ today.

Planning to Buy a second- hand FJ1100 or FJ1200?

FJ Lore This page has general repair and upgrade information. It looks a lot like the little brother of the FJ FAQ.

FJ1200.COMA new FJ resource page. This site now hosts the FJ FAQ.

Riders thoughts on the FJ a Buyer's Guide of sorts.

FJ Clubs

The UK FJ Owners Club Interestingly enough some of the FJ list's greatest contributors are members of this club. The club offers group activities for people in the UK, a parts catalog with many hard to find and unique items, technical services from their resident wrench and a news letter.

The FJ Owner's Club Web Site Another UKFJOC site.

The German FJ Owners Club

The South African FJ Enthusiasts

Aussie FJ Page Great page!

The Yahoo FJ Club was founded by Gary Foreman, as I mentioned above, to serve as a place on the web for FJ owners to share ideas, pictures and the like. It works very much like the FJ e-mail list, however, you do not receive to short ton of e-mail that the list sometimes generates.

John "Hawke" "Polecat" Laurenson A site devoted to long distance riding.

Robert W. Odem This is not exactly a home page. It is a PhotoPoint album with some great pictures of Robert's highly modified FJ1200. Great job Robert!

Grant Marko Again this is not really an owner's home page. These are pictures from Deal's Gap summer 1999. Grant took his FJ down to play. MPG number 8 is classic. Grant leads a CBR600F3 out of a corner and starts to punch ahead though a straight. Well worth a look if you have some time on your hands.

YOSHIDA, Junji, M.D., Ph.D The PhotoPoint album of an FJ list member who is from Japan.

FJ's Featured on the Web

Jon Jarosz Custom FJ Featured by the UKFJOC! Congratulations Jon on a job well done!

Jon Jarosz's FJ1220 is Featured in Cycle Canada: Page 1, Page 2 Jon has to be loving this! Bob Nemec was nice enough to scan this article that appears in March's Cycle Canada.

Group Rides

In Search of Darkness A true story about a tour of Europe that some UK riders took this summer to see the eclipse. This link has changed because our own Andy the Pugh published his page on this trip and was kind enough to link all of the other pages on this topic from his.
Niagara Falls Ride
Second Annual River Run Destination Winona Minnesota. This is an older site. It is difficult to grasp that two out of the five people that attended have been seriously injured on their FJ's. The pictures of Tony Munich should be given special attention, as this seemingly vital young man is still in very poor condition since his accident in 1998. Please see the link above (The Tony Munich Fund) for details.
Brian Lindsay's 4th annual greater Cincinnati Spring Motorcycle Run It looks as if this site might have been updated except for the title banner. A small oversight that I am sure will be repaired soon enough. I look forward to this event. It looks like it will be a bunch of fun and it is in support of a great charity.

Cool FJ Stuff

FJ Sport Wear Hats and t-shirts for the enthusiast.

Parts Manufacturers & Wholesalers

Dennis Kirk Wholesaler. Again I have mixed reviews on this one. I, personally, have ordered from them on a number of occasions and been quite pleased. Before you call have a list of what you want by the part number. The person on the other end of the wire knows about the computer in front of them and nothing more.

CBT Imports Stain Tune exhausts and Harrison billet calipers for the FJ.

Competition Accessories Wholesaler/ Dealer with catalog outlet and online ordering. Mixed reviews. I, personally, have found them to be not very helpful on their retail floor.

M & P English motorcycle parts wholesaler similar to Dennis Kirk in the States. There is a difference, though. Their products are of much better quality.

Motorcycle Accessory Warehouse Mail order parts dealer. Their selection is excellent, however, I have heard mixed reviews on their service.

Ohio Superbike Mostly stuff for squids and racers but, an interesting site none the less.

Tires Unlimited Tire wholesaler. I have done business with this place as a front door customer. They were friendly and helpful. I can honestly recommend them.

Lockhart Phillips This site is simply a place to order their $8 catalog and nothing more.

Tracy's Parts Warehouse Don't let their web site fool you. These guys are actually really great to deal with. Call: 1-800-860-0686 Contact them for discount OEM parts!

HLSM A Pennsylvania parts warehouse. Their web page is excellent! The complete microfiche for the 1993 FJ1200 is available online.

Zanotti Motors Another resource for OEM parts. Very friendly, very quick and very cheap. Everybody loves 'em and more than one place to shop for a discount is way cool.

GenMarRaise the level of the stock clip-ons with spacers from these folks. (I understand that they are not making the kit for the FJ any longer but, if you are interested something could surely be worked out.)

Spec II Parts for '80 sportbikes! They carry a chin fairing for the FJ, a set of aftermarket clip-ons that should work great too and a bunch of other cool goodies. Definitely worth a look. I only have one complaint... No pictures to speak of and I hate to read.

Salvage

D&M Sportbikes I used this place a bunch for my YZF project and so far they have been great. Ask for Spaz and mention that you saw this on my site. He will hook you up!
Tools

Very Cool Bike Lift Expensive functional toy that looks as if it might make coffee in the morning for you too.
Pro Lev'r A tire changing tool that is said to work well.

Cool Sites With No FJ Content

Federal Trade Commission's Search Engine This is nifty cool. Finally the US government doing something useful! Don't believe me? Go to this page and type in the name of your favorite product and check out if there have been and class actions suits against them. Doesn't seem useful, still? Try typing in "Slick 50" or "Prolong". The results are amusing. Thanks to Blaine S Gardner for pointing this one out.

Motorcycle TV.COM Last time I looked this was a new site with little content. It could be worth a serious look once the season starts though.
