It has been a long time in the making - although not as long as some pompus git like Rick Wakeman would have taken - but then again it doesn't take us 7 days just to turn all our equipment on!

What can be said about the contents? It displays many things. The skill of Paul to manipulate sound waves into emotion, the growing maturity of Dave as a vocalist and the coming of age and personal inner peace displayed by Bill in his lyrical exorcisms.

You can expect the usual fare from Flight here: there are some real power-driven sonic landmines in this album, but there is also a much softer side that hasn't quite been in evidence before. Witness 'The Ocean', as desperate a love song as any from the pen of the great songwriters, or the haunting tones of 'For You'. The bittersweet irony of 'Fiction Romance' and the angst of 'Endless'.

This album will be hard for some to relate to, but it is the album Flight had to make. They can only ever make honest music, and that is the best way to describe what is contained within.
