Thoughts Trapped Inside
Danny Turner's review for Barcode Magazine (Issue #3):

Very impressed by this debut release from Flight, a band that have a very clear idea of what they want to sound like and, more to the point, carry out their objective with quite some success.

Firstly, the artwork has a direction that is too often lacking in unsigned bands, whilst the interactive CD, which brings up an informative interface courtesy of MP3.Com, is a masterstroke of self-publicity.

You'll be glad to know that the music doesn't let Flight down either. The sound is distinctly eighties influenced and technology wise they may not be cutting edge but as always decent songwriting will always shine through such early limitations.
'Desolate Man', despite sounding eerily familiar to Duran Duran's 'A View To A Kill', largely remains unaffected due to some decent crossover vocals and well structured songwriting. Vocally, Flight don't particularly impress, but they wisely steer clear of over-stretching themselves, and the vocal style suits the music. Of the 6 tracks on offer, the majority are listenable enough to prevent you reaching for the fast forward. Particularly impressive is 'Adored', an Associates style track in delivery which haunts thanks to some mesmerising synth lines and great chord changes. The best thing about Flight, though, is that however limited they are technology wise, and they are, the CD demands repeat plays and that is ultimately the most important thing when attempting to climb the ladder of rock notoriety.

I would suggest they work the live circuit extensively if they are serious in securing a record deal, which I would like to think shouldn't be too far away.
