The
Trust is a registered charity and the Trustees and organising committee are all
volunteers with full time jobs. The Trust
is constantly in need of financial and practical help and support. We welcome sponsorship from local and
national businesses and donations from individuals, to assist us in promoting
the Festival and striving to meet our charitable objectives. We are very grateful for donations however
small.
If you pay income tax at the basic rate and are
therefore making a donation to us out of your taxed income, as a registered
charity, we can recover the income tax you have paid on an amount equal to your
donation if you pay your donation to us under gift aid. If you are a higher rate tax payer you can
get tax relief equal to the difference between the higher and basic rate. It really is simple so please complete the
Gift Aid Declaration below and send it to us with your donation.
Join the supporters of
Tenterden Folk Festival
The
supporters scheme enables you to become more involved with the festival and
helps to raise much needed funds to ensure its future development. The whole Festival weekend, and the Trusts
other activities, are run on very tight budgets and extra assistance and funds
are always needed.
For
a minimal donation of £8.00 (please feel free to give more if you are able) you
will be kept informed with early press releases about the festival and our
other activities and meet up during the weekend and at other times.
