The Craft Fair will be held in the Assembly Rooms in the Town Hall, and in the street outside numbers 69 to 139 High Street, from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, and 10am to 4pm on Sunday. The fee is £30 for one day, and £50 for both days, but stalls in the Town hall are only available on a two day basis, so stallholders who only wish to come for one day will have to take one of the spaces outside 69 to 139 High Street. Tables will be provided in the Town Hall, but outside stallholders will be expected to provide their own, and to have £2 million Public Liability Insurance. Ashford Borough Council require all street stall holders to hold a street trading licence for the festival, and this will cost a further £20. They also require a copy of your Public Liability Insurance.

Stallholders will be able to unload, but not park, at the rear of the Town Hall or on the road in front of 69-139 High Street. After unloading, stallholders are required to move their vehicles to one of the town car parks where they must pay the usual charges, or to the station where parking will be free.

The emphasis will as always be on traditional Kentish crafts and demonstrations of your craft will be encouraged. Dancers and other festival guests will visit both venues to entertain you and your customers.

If you are interested in attending the Craft Fair, please complete the booking form attached and return it with your stall fee made payable to “Tenterden Folk Day Trust”, and a stamped self addressed envelope. If you want to take a street stall, please send your street traders licence application with the fee to Ashford Council.
