Make a difference day involved the Friends combining with the people from the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints and BTCV. We also had help from the Downland group who drove the machinery and generally gave instruction.
The path was laid with Terram (a porous membrane) to allow water to pass through and permit drainage while not allowing the bog and planings to meet. The planings (30 tons) were then spread by hand once delivered to the area by the dumper. At the last about 400 barrowloads had to be moved.
A great time was had by all and the pictures here reflect that.
