First mapped in 1638, Heatheryford could be described as "All that’s best about the country." It lies within sight but not sound of the M90 and half an hours drive north of Edinburg. Heatheryford lies at a strategic cross-roads between Edinburgh and Perth, Glasgow and St Andrews at Junction 6 M90 (opposite Granada services). There is ample car parking.

THE GROUSE AND CLARET RESTAURANT

Which takes its name from a trout fishing fly, offers a wide variety of menus. It may be a quick snack or a leisurelyevening meal, in either case it will certainly be delicious home made food,beautifully cooked and presented. Seasonal game and fresh shell fish such as lobster and crayfish are a speciality of the house and almost anything can be ordered at 12 hour’s notice. Attractive vegetarian dishes are always available. and favourite gateaux & shortbread are made on the premises. There is a selection of cheese and an interesting wine list which will lift your spirit & delight your friends.

h2 h5 The Restaurant, set in 40 acres of wild meadows, overlooks the water, where a variety of interesting birds and waterfowl can be seen. It is an excellent viewpoint for ornithologists. The four lochans are filled with plump and vigorous brown and rainbow trout for the enthusiastic fly fisher. Wild flowers and herbs are encouraged to grow beside the paths and water.

h1 Is a wonderful setting for special parties - large or small-business or pleasure. Small weddings, conferences and functions up to 100 can he catered for. Our Dining-room, Lounge Bar & Gallery conveniently link up or can be used separately and the French windows lead out onto the lawns and garden. The Gallery has regular exhibitions of contemporary Art by both established and new artists. It also has very good acoustics for fine music. This unusual combination of Art, Music and Delicious Food is widely acclaimed. A programme of events is available. h6 h9
