Q - Do you need CorelDRAW manuals to use IsoMec?

A - No, you don't really need CorelDRAW manuals to use IsoMec. We supply a very comprehensive manual/tutorial with IsoMec which discusses all the features of CorelDRAW that you need to use for IsoMec. CorelDRAW, particularly the later versions, come with a very good on-line "help" which is like having a manual on your screen.

Q - I've recently upgraded to CorelDRAW version 7 and have problems importing IsoMec files that were created prior to September 1993. Is there a quick fix for this problem?

A - You might, indeed, encounter problems using version 1 IsoMec files with CorelDRAW version 7. All the files appear to work with CorelDRAW up to version 6 - but Corel Corp obviously made some changes. To fix the problem, we suggest that you upgrade to the latest version of IsoMec (version 2.2) when you will find that all the files are compatible with CorelDRAW version 3 through 7.

Q - Do you have any suggestions for how to best export files out of CorelDRAW to a format that could be distributed electronically to other interested modellers?

A - The best compression rates that we have found is .gif format. The results are impressive while the file sizes are small and easily transmitted over the net.
