The
Club is managed by Andrew England Golf Ltd. The managers of the club, including Andrew England, John Goymer and Alan Lyddon, run the day to day affairs.

The Members have license to use the facilities whenever possible, within the rules of the Club, including the Academy Course, Practice Ground and Covered Net Area. (On certain occasions the Professional Staff may be taking a clinic or display) The Clubhouse The Clubhouse exists to provide food and beverages for Members, their Guests, visitors, societies and organized events. It operates to clearly published opening hours, which vary according to time of year or day of week, but can be as flexible as Members want, provided sufficient time is given. A menu of both hot and cold food and snacks is available on a day to day basis, but with sufficient notice, George can conjure up almost anything you require and can afford. The Clubhouse is used to host Quiz Nights, Games Nights, Fashion Nights, Barbecues, Private Parties etc. It can also be booked for Anniversaries, Christenings, Birthday Parties or any other celebratory function. Platinum Pay 10 years up front at fixed rate. Full Gold Play seven
days a week - no green fees. Full Silver Play Weekdays - Green fees at weekends. Gold Play seven days a week - reduced Green Fees. Silver - Play Weekdays only - reduced Green Fees Corporate - 6 or more from same Company. Country- Reduced seven-day membership. Junior - Reduced Seven day membership. WHEATHILL MEMBERS CLUB The Club: The Members Club operates under the terms and rules of the Wheathill Golf Club Constitution, a copy of which is held in the clubhouse, together with any Resolutions passed by the General Committee. 2. The Members: All members of Wheathill Golf Club, automatically become members of the Members Club. New members will be officially welcomed to the club, at a monthly get-together with the Club Captain, Lady Captain and other relevant committee members. The Committees: General Committee. The committee appointed by members under the constitution of the club, usually consisting of The Club captain, Vice-Captain, Secretary, Treasurer, Ladies representative (normally Lady Captain), Seniors Representative, Juniors Representative, Proprietor (or his representative) and three other members. Members. The current members of the General Committee are displayed on the Notice Board outside the Clubhouse Door. Responsibilities. All matters relating to members requirements from the Golf Club relating to property, fixtures and fittings, the course, finance and administration. The day to day running of the club within the rules laid down by the R &A, E.G.U, L.G.U. and S.G.U. The handling of Members views, ideas and complaints Acting as the interface between members and the management of Wheathill Golf Club. Organizing social events for the benefit of members and their guests. Advising members by the use of Notices, through the Wheathill Watcher and verbally, of all items which should be brought to their attention, e.g. Rule Changes, External/Internal Competitions, Social Events etc. Ensuring that national and local club rules are adhered to by all members using the course. Assisting Wheathill Golf club in ensuring that Pay & Play users of the course also adhere to all relevant rules. Ensuring that the Members Club is conducted on a sound financial basis. Overseeing the operations of all Section Committees, to ensure that they conform to the Club constitution and that their interests and those of their members are fairly and equitably represented. Organizing the Annual General meeting in December of each year, to report on the year past to members, and elect committee members and/or officers for the coming year. Section Committees:
Under article 9(d) of the constitution, the General Committee has also set up a Ladies Section, Men's playing section, Seniors Section and Junior Section, together with relevant committees. Members. The current members of the Section Committees are displayed on the Notice Board outside the Clubhouse Door. Responsibilities Organizing and running all internal club competitions. Organizing & selecting teams to represent Wheathill in Leagues, County and National Competitions. Handling of all day to day affairs affecting only their members. Ensuring that correct handicapping procedures and records are maintained and produced. Handling all financial affairs relating only to their members. Ensuring that any Section rules or operating procedures introduced, do not conflict with the Club Constitution, or compromise the General Committee in any way. Reporting back to the General Committee, through their representative or in writing, on matters pertaining to competitions, handicaps, finance and other issues, where such communication is a requirement or deemed necessary by events. There are Four P.G.A. qualified
Golf Professionals attached to the club, to cover all aspects of the
game including Teaching, Equipment, Repairs and Playing. The whole team
runs Wheathill Golf Club for the enjoyment of its Members, Guests and
Visitors.
