One song is about a 1950s house wife who spy's for the Russians, the other about mad science in the new century. After singles on Elefant and Black Bean (a 12" that sold out quickly and was played repeatedly on John Peel), we are proud to announce her debut CD compiling 15 new miniature symphonies recorded entirely in her home on a PC. She has taken the antique sounds of old time country music, field recordings and folk, sampled, cut, and spliced them together with eerie cinema organs, mellotrons, slide guitars, and the jumpy rhythms of modern electronia. Frances' full color art is part of a special booklet and tray that accompany this CD in jewel case.
