Purpose of the Web Site

Being created for the STEER Family History Project. The purpose of the project is to assist people who are researching their Steer roots, wherever they are, and to assist people in helping other Steer researchers.

The public face of a large database of worldwide historical Steer events, more records will be added to the web site as fast as time allows.

The STEER surname has had various different spellings, the project will include these variants: STEER, STEERE, STEERS, STEERES, STEAR etc.
