6Mar1740.James Adair at Abbey and Margaret Kellie daughter to Alexander Kellie now deceased in Bridgemiln were married in Bridgemiln.Witnesses Thomas McCarlie,Elder and Junior in Clachan.
Charles Kelly called his first child Alexander perhaps after his father.

Death not found Dailly OPR.
My tree to John Davidson/Marion McConnachie is correct according to Anne Anderson.Thereafter I have not found proof.

122. Robert McMurtrie

OPR Dailly:Robert McMurtrie in this parroch and Bessie McMurtrie in Girvan parroch gave in their names in order to marriage the 29th.June and were proclaimed according to order and were married 18July1728.
The following is from an e-mail.
"I suspect that after their marriage Robert and Bessie went to Trees of Maybole and had their first children there, but that is just conjecture. However, William McM of Woodhead,Girvan was a witness at the marriage of Ann McM, dau of Robert in Blair, Kirkoswald. William moved to Bogside of Maybole within a few hunderd yards of Trees. William is CF -014 in the MacMurtrie Clan FAmily Records"


123. Elizabeth McMurtrie

Elizabeth might have been born at Woodhall in Girvan Parish.A witness in 1737 at her daughters Annes christening was William McMurtrie of Woodhall.He would probably have been her brother or her father.A William McMmurtie of Woodhall had three children Janet b.1736,Andrew b.741 and Hugh b.1743.
Woodhall is only about one and a half miles from Barr.

names in order to marriage 6th.Oct. were three times proclaimed and married
1st.Nov1733.
Occupation:Tailor.
No Johns born before 1736 in OPR Dailly.

John White in this parroch and Jannet Campbell in the paroch of Girvan gave in their names 29th.March and were married 22Apr1712

OPR Dailly - William Wright in this parish and Jean Shaw in Girvan parish
gave in their names in order to marriage 17th.May,proclaimed three times and
were married 9th.Jun1735.
I cannot prove that the William Wright who married Jean Shaw and the William
Wright who was the smith in Balcammy were the same person.
